  • “The evening meals here are tremendous, and I don’t have to do the dinner dishes! I also have my own kitchen in my apartment if I ever get the urge to cook for myself”

    Al W.

  • “When I arrived at the Masonic Care Community from Florida, I could barely walk and was unable to take care of myself. Since moving here, I have had knee replacements and am walking better than I have in years. I am enjoying activities and day trips, while maintaining my independence”

    - Clyde M.

  • “To the nurses and physical therapists: Many thanks to each of you for the wonderful care you gave to me all of those weeks you were visiting our home. Each of you had your own unique approach with your compassion, wisdom and friendliness. I will always remember my experience as a positive one. Thanks again!”

    -Phyllis

  • “I came to the Masonic Care Community Rehabilitation center following an illness. They had me up and moving, and I went from using a wheelchair to a walker then a cane. The staff were wonderful.”

    -Nick

  • “There are no words that can explain how happy we are to have Amila there.”

    -Hanka G.

  • “The Daniel D. Tompkins Chapel is one of the most beautiful places to hold an event. The stained glass windows, the architecture, the history create a distinct location that is unparalled!”

The Booth Memorial Children’s Building was built in 1898, as the need for housing at the Utica Campus increased dramatically from the facilities opening 5 years earlier. It was named after Edwin Booth, a famous Shakespearian Actor who donated $5,000 to that purpose. Edwin was an active and enthusiastic Mason. He was also the older brother of the infamous John Wilkes Booth. Following the events of April 1865, Edwin never spoke of his sibling again.
