  • “When I arrived at the Masonic Care Community from Florida, I could barely walk and was unable to take care of myself. Since moving here, I have had knee replacements and am walking better than I have in years. I am enjoying activities and day trips, while maintaining my independence”

    - Clyde M.

  • “To the nurses and physical therapists: Many thanks to each of you for the wonderful care you gave to me all of those weeks you were visiting our home. Each of you had your own unique approach with your compassion, wisdom and friendliness. I will always remember my experience as a positive one. Thanks again!”

    -Phyllis

  •  "The staff at the Masonic Care Community really got me moving. They were attentive and made sure I was ready to go home. I would recommend their services to anyone.”

    -Domiano

  • “Masonic Child Care is more like a little family working together with one goal; your children’s future. Each room has their own steps on helping your child get ready for kindergarten one step at a time. “Our family is your family” is what I feel we are at Masonic child Care.”

-Previous Masonic Child Care student, now employee

  • “The Daniel D. Tompkins Chapel is one of the most beautiful places to hold an event. The stained glass windows, the architecture, the history create a distinct location that is unparalled!”

    Carol  B.

  • “It is so serene and beautiful here. The Round Lake Camp takes you back to a simpler time”

The Booth Memorial Children’s Building was built in 1898, as the need for housing at the Utica Campus increased dramatically from the facilities opening 5 years earlier. It was named after Edwin Booth, a famous Shakespearian Actor who donated $5,000 to that purpose. Edwin was an active and enthusiastic Mason. He was also the older brother of the infamous John Wilkes Booth. Following the events of April 1865, Edwin never spoke of his sibling again.
