Respite Care
Family caregivers, who need some time to take care of short-term personal needs, can take advantage of an innovative service offered by Masonic Care Community in Utica, New York. This is in response to an ever-growing demand for this type of “respite” program.
The “Take a Break” program is a short-term respite service. It is designed to allow family members involved in the daily care of a loved one to have time away from their “labor of love.” While it may only be necessary to take a few days for personal business, this program will also provide the opportunity for stays as long as 30 days. That long overdue vacation can now become a reality. Regulations limits stays to a maximum of 42 days per year.
Residents in the “Take a Break” program receive the same quality care that has been the heart of the Masonic Care Community tradition of caring since 1893. This care includes:
24-hour Nursing and Medical care
A regular schedule of activities and programs
Full-time pastoral care
24-hour security
Rehabilitation services as needed
