Trustee's Ladies Send Holiday Packages to Our Troops
The wives of the Trustees of the Masonic Hall and Home have sent boxes of cheer to men and women who are currently serving our nation in the armed forces. The ladies, working together, gathered a variety of toiletries, personal hygiene items, food, special holiday snacks, and other useful items. Additionally, some of the ladies knitted hats for soldiers in Afghanistan. “ The Masonic Fraternity has always placed a high value on service to our Country, ‘ says Mickey Darrohn. “We wanted to do something special to let them know we are thinking about them at this time of year”. The boxes weighed close to 124 lbs and have been sent so they would arrive before the holiday season
